body kit/ground effects pkge and wheels question

was searching online for different body kits anf saw the hot wheels kit - looked badass - cheapest i found was around $1600 before shipping. then i think it would still need to be painted.

out of all others i saw, i liked the one from rksports the best - it was also the cheapest. the kit included the front valance, l/r side skirts, and l/r piece behind rear tires. rear diffuser was sold separately.

my question is - anyone have this body kit and can tell me a little about it - the quality, fit, and look in person. secondly, would u recommend gettting the rear diffuser,or is the stock one just fine?

about the wheels - best rims (for the cost) ive seen are ivs havocs 20" black chrome - anyone seen these? they look awesome imo.

Garys Customs can offer you the best pricing on either of these kits and paint them to match 100%

I've been going back and forth on body kits too. The good part for me is that I have no cash right now to buy...so I get to look, look, look. So far, it's been between the Street Scenes and Havoc body kits. I love the both. I think I'm swinging towards the Street Scenes kit. But, I also think the car should be lowered when doing this. Sure, some springs will work...but I've heard that ride quality suffers from springs only. ....so, coilovers would be important.

My plan is to probably go SS body kit, drop it with some coilovers and toss on some other suspension parts (sway bars, etc), and widen the wheels. DONE.

Check out the street scenes body kit and Havoc..see what you thinK!

Top is havoc and lower is street scenes

Yeah, the hot wheels kit is too aggressive to me. It takes away from the lines of the car that make it so special.

how did u remove the bowtie emblem from the trunk in order to put on the 'SS' emblem. like that a lot. also, how'd u get the 'ss' emblem off the back right rear trunk?

heat gun, or blow dryer; fishing line, or strong floss; WD-40 or GooGone - takes all the emblems, bowties, etc off Oh, some elbow grease too Plenty of DIY threads on this also...

Havoc wheels? Lots of us have them...

I think the chrome would look hot on your IBM.
