What do you guys think about this cowl hood? Honest opinions please.

It's awesome, OMG everything about that car is awesome. Is that open at the windshield? Definitely would vent the engine better, and keep the ice off your windshield in the winter. Would also protect the windshield from some of the rocks hitting it. I'm sure you are looking at it solely for the practical purposes

The more I see the larger spoilers on the rear, the more I like them. I'm almost wishing my vinyl stripes fade or peel off to give me an excuse to put painted on like these. Maybe that'll be Phase IV.

When I ordered mine, ABM would have been the last choice, now I think it's the only color I would choose over SIM. (Of course, IOM is a close second behind SIM)

I appreciate your feedback and I agree. That car IS awesome!! Darin and I were like "WOW"! We want that hood. The good thing is he's located in Indianapolis. Here is the link to his website: http://www.mpd1.com/content/faq.html

He sells aftermarket parts. I found him in a thread "Post your Unique Camaro". The spoiler is for sale there too. We are seriously considering getting both in the future, getting gloss black stripes painted all the way down, like on his car.

I don't want to make our car look "freakish". So I wanted other opinions. I think this hood makes the car look like a race car which I love.

Oh boy... and yes, all the orange barrels, thank God those are around because the roads need some MASSIVE help here. Riding a motorcycle is not a fun experience out here. No offence taken, there are more idiots I work for/with than not.

No cruise in here, we went to the drive in!

We we ordered we went back and forth time after time after time between RED, CGM and ABM. SIM was not even on the list. Well we went hunting for cars in those colors (CGM and ABM). Found a CGM corvette and a ABM hhr. not impressed with either. The ABM looks AMAZING in pictures and in bright beautiful sunny day when the car is clean. Other than that, it looks terrible IMO. Its too... aqua... for me. Needs to be BLUE. Stryker Blue would have been a better choice. That or Jet Stream Blue. Anything with the word aqua, no thanks! As for the CGM... just were not that impressed. It looks nice and Hank and Terri have SWEET cars but just not for us. We had decided on Red, then one last time at the dealer prior to ordering and they had a SIM 2LT... SOLD! We ordered SIM the next day! Could not be happier!

Just got my car back on Friday, fixed some minor damage to my bumper and painted on my rallys. Very happy w/ the results. Sorry for the crappy phone pics.

Finished blacking out the back end today, as well.

Not sure where this was taken, but it's a great burnout, and too funny what happens to him moments later.

2010 camaro burnout

Judging by the tracks on the road, this guy pushed his luck a few too many times.

Now who would do burnouts on their own street?
