BackinblackSS,

Hopefully, you will love it as much as me and my wife do! Yeah, not stainless . . . but with the changes in new steel construction away from the back in the day glaspaks, I will get my 10 years+ out of the system . . . buy then, who knows what exhaust I will want to put on it! Oh, yeah, I will still have the Camaro 2SS in 10 years for sure!

For the $399 I have invested in the Cherry Bomb Extreme cat back system, I can change it anytime I want to and never fell bad about it!

When I line up with other Camaros--which sound amzing too for the $1100 or so invested in stainless exhaust, no one can believe I spent only 4 bills on my exhaust, though I know the CAI Inc cold air intake adds immeasurably to the sound--great outside, and a lovely sound inside (to let me know I spent my money well), the exhaust sound overcome anytime I feel like it with the iPod and two 12" kickers in the Subthumb box.

Let us know what you think after the install.

OH BOY!!! Got the Cherrybomb put on today and all I can say is it is perfect. A little louder than stock at idle, open her up and it is SWEET music. The decel popping is even sweeter as well. I am so freaking stoked that I picked the right sound for me!!!!!!! Oh, and they are the RED cherry bombs. Looks SO much better than stock under there now.

So you're telling us you cut out your stock mufflers and welded in Cherry Bomb glass packs on your car? The "extreme" system uses black-painted chambered mufflers.

Just wanting clarification...

I just installed mine and the only fitment issues I had is the tailpipes stick out farther then stock and I have the ground effects kit, so the tailpipes are wedged in the exhaust bezels.

I also have a question for you cherry bomb users, when u punch the accelerator does your car get quiet. When I floor it all the sound goes away and it sounds to me like stock?

Hmm, not all. Now I do not have the full catback, just the axel back. Not sure if that is the reason, but when I punch it is just badass sounding. I did a ton of research before I pulled the trigger and I hit a home run. This is EXACTLY what I wanted my car to sound like. Not crazy loud, but a little more aggressive than stock on idle, and at WOT, man this is just mean sounding.

Drop in my 2SS . . . not a single fitment issue . . . perfect! And, you can adjust how much the tailpipe sticks out by where you place the rearward clamps on the pipe. Perfect, not a single fitment issue. I must have gotten the last of the new black mufflers . . . got mine the week after they had halted production to remeasure everything.
