It's utterly disgusting really...Barry Obama gives the UAW $60 billion IN ADDITION TO 17% ownership of GM and the company still goes through bankruptcy. Clearly the bailout was repayment for their support of his campaign and to ensure the UAW maintained a seat at the table throughout and after the bankruptcy proceedings.

Essentially the American and Canadian tax payers paid for the UAW to keep their jobs, when they played a significant role in the ruination of GM.

Ford knew what Barry and his goons were up to and they smartly told him to pound sand.

The compro Mustang has an old out of production v8 and an old 5 speed, that's would be like swaping out the LS3 6 speed for a LT-1 and 5 speed and then test them at the race track. Thats how I feel about the match up.

i believe it was roush that said they kept blowing transmissions when they were testing FI applications. they never mentioned anything about the engine being stout enough, although lower compression would help. lets see if i can find the article where it was mentioned.

So, I guess they will be re-testing the Camaro to try for better numbers then? Is that how it works, you keep testing over and over until you get the best numbers to publish? Wow, that could get pretty tiring having to test and re-test every car! But, you have to hand it to them, they want to get the best numbers possible for every car they test. Oh wait, never mind, they only do that for the hallowed mustang.

^ The SS doesn't have the traction problems that the GT500 encountered on that test car, on that test track, on that day. MT's first test of the SS was their best during the winter video running LS3 13.0@111mph and L99 in 13.1

They could of gotten a lot better mph on the GT500. Mine runs 118's consistently hot lapping it in the summer.

Just wait until Evan Smith gets a hold of one at E-town.

SS vs 5.0 GT shootout

Somebody needs to set up a Camaro VS mustang shootout this fall. Same track same time line em up and let em go.

Ok, this is what we found out. When the 5.0 is mashed to the max...it's receiving 86% throttle. Has something to do with the drive-by-wire. When that's manipulated....to where you are getting the full 100% from the car. The Mustang 5.0 puts down 400RWHP!!! At the stock 86%..your getting about 365RWHP.
Either way....I feel cheated.

I had my MT SS dynoed on a Mustand Dyno...and I got 358.7RWHP.
