The Camaro line is not affected. Quit worrying about it (for now).
They pretty much announced that almost every Chevy car is affected by this. Also, why would they report that the Camaro is affected by this if it is...they aren't currently making the car to begin with. If it WAS affected, they wouldn't announce it here. These are all cars currently in production.

Ours isn't even operating yet, shouldn't affect us at all.

Which is why it won't be affected.

I understand your point. But, You can't reduce production on a car that isn't bein produced yet.

And until GM Says there will be delays with the Camaro there aren't any.

Be positive. If you want me to say "anything is possible" I will. But to me it makes more sense to get the Camaro out on time. They need the money that will be generated by this car sooner rather than later. And since this car is not in production just yet. They will be able to produce the exact amount need because they have preorders and alloctions already set. So if the car doesn't sell at the 80K - 100K a year rate, they will be able to react much more quickly and reduce production when the time comes.

You see what I'm sayin?

All the vehicles on the list are sitting on lots in the thousands. Based on pre-orders, there won't be Camaros rotting on lots for a while.

Corvette production @ BG shuts down on Dec 24th and won't re-start until Feb 26th. That's a TWO MONTH shut down. I don't think this is NORMAL.

This article specifically says the Camaro is not affected: http://newsdurhamregion.com/business/article/115425. So, hopefully it stays that way.

CALM DOWN ..........

There are three "Oshawa" lines - - Line 1 and 2 -- plus a truck plant.

The Camaro line will close over the Holiday - but will not shut down like the Impala or Truck line -- we'll still be building a couple of Camaros each day as the assembly craftsmen (and women!) learn to build the cars so that you are completely satisfied with your purchase!

NOW - go wind yourselves back up and call these Imbecile Senators that want to put us out of business..........

Tell them that you DEMAND that they take a $1 salary until they learn to balance the budget.

Thank you fbodfather...last night's news was pretty rough and we need some GM words of comfort.
