I cant get to it now because camarotracking finally accepted my registration (I guess my car is no longer considered preproduction). I think it was 1 800 GM DRIVE.

Those with VINs did you order have stripes? I am wondering if that is what is holding mine up.

Mine doesn't have stripes either. It does have ground effects but I don't think that would be an issue since it's dealer installed.

I did order stripes. Seems to have only added a day after I hit 3800.

What is going on I've been built since 7/23 and still in the factory. I can't figure what is the hold up no stripes nothing extra that would hold me up. Does anyone know who I can call except the dealer which mine is the worst.

Schwarzer I'm same as you. No VIN. Im also SIM 2LT/RS. Maybe they produce them in batches by similar cars. Maybe our batch is just last...

Given the length of the hold, I'd have to wonder if you were randomly selected for quality control? That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing long-term as your car would probably be perfect by the time it showed up. Despite the delay, I was actually hoping to get pulled as I'd rather lose five days in the factory than many trips to the dealer fixing things.

Maybe. We are pretty close to each other so at least we should get our cars at the same time.

Did you get stripes on your SIM? I got the CGM Rallys.

Wondered the same as ssummit and I both got VIN's early. He has a white (assumption based off the name) 1SS RS, I have a white 2SS RS. From a production standpoint, it would only make sense -- if the booth bots are setup to spray white already then...

No stripes, but they are installed last i think. My guess is we will go through the line together as it would be more efficient production for the plant. We just got the short straw. Youll get the stripes on at the end.
