I grounded it to the Hood catch under the first bolt next to the air box,but if it was a bad ground wouldn't it of gave me a hard time the first time I used it? It worked fine for two days. Ill try to change the ground and see if that helps. Thx Dave

How long did it take to receive yours? I put my order in and in the description it states 2 to 3 weeks to ship. Damn, I hate waiting.

About a week, but that is only because they received the shipment 2 days after I ordered. I know Justin stated they got an order in Monday (I believe). You might get lucky!

Hey Dave,
Was wondering if you knew where the security light wire was. I am wanting to have it on when my car is locked, so it can give a "get the f*&$k away" sort of appearance lol. Well... I guess I can just turn it on when I do leave the ride parked? Hm.... Well when do you actually use yours? Now I'm second guesing my idea haha
THANKS

I did not use the security wire so I cannot help you there. I am sure someone else on here will be able to tell you where it is in about .2 seconds. LOL!

It's not my daily driver so I only drive the car Friday-Sun (if it's not raining), so I use the scanner bar as soon as I hop in it! I drive with it scanning back and forth (darker blue) even though its illegal. Cops, so far, have given me thumbs up and a courteous lightbar flash with big ol' smiles... I am quite surprised so far!

I also leave it on when I go into stores and such. I usually come out to a few folks hanging around the car in a mesmerizing trance. (look into the LIGHT!!) LOL!

Over all... it is a great attention getter and thats what I want... people to love my car as much as I do!!

SAY WHAT?!!!! LOL I am surprised as well!
wow... some nice police officers you got over there in TX haha. I guess I can give it a try. My excuse if I do get stopped is "I forgot to turn it off, I was coming from a car meet/show." Hopefully, they'll be kind enough to let me go without a fix it ticket! Thanks for the reply Dave! Your thread was very helpful!

p.s. Do you have an excuse ready to use? =)

No, but I have a backup "get out of ticket (most of the time)" card. My CHL usually does the trick! don't ask me why but it works!

Other than that... I just say something comical and submissive like "Ya got me!". Most cops around here are cool if you're not a dick to them. So I avoid that at all costs. I appreciate them being around so I don't see the point of trying to BS a cop... haha.. trust me... they KNOW!

I figure it is just a matter of time seeing as I don't have a front license plate either because of the stripes! LOL!

I had it laying around the garage. Home Depot/Walmart/Lowes will have it though.

Sorry to hear that bud! At least we are dealing with a GREAT company!! That makes the mishaps easier to deal with.
