I'll keep driving my quadrasteer GMC truck until it dies out of bitterness for our elected officials who gave away so many millions of dollars to the thieves on Wall Street with no strings attached and at the cost of so many American jobs by not helping out our auto manufacturers.

I refuse to buy a foreign car, and have been in the SRT8 and feel its grossly over rated unless you're going to nail it from a 40 roll. Zilch for bottom end performance, and the Mustang is obviously not a high performance car unless you get into a GT500. And for that price I'd take a Corvette any day even if it is harder to crawl in and out of.

Watch the prices of the foreign perfomance cars soar if GM bites the dust. When they have no competition from the US manufacturers they will be bending the US consumers over big time by jacking up the price and raking in the profits.

You won't see any Californian green SOB's complaining about how bad their $100K foreign cars pollute the environment though will you? But they will rag on how a Corvette is such an over indulgence.

I'd love to see the list of which legislator's drive what brand of car. I'd bet that would be quite interesting, and possibly establish a pattern as to who sold out America. A depression is not a pretty sight but nobody seems to care or feel that they are a part of the problem when they buy a Toyota.

If the new Camaro doesn't come out or if GM goes under before I have the money dor a decent down payment, I'll be sticking with my current car but if something happens to my car I'll either get a used low mile '99-'02 Z28/SS or transam or a '08-'09 Vette.

I'm still debating between a camaro and the 370z. I'll have to drive both. I got to sit in the 370z last month, and it's a very high quality car, which I think I'm looking more for this time around than just pure HP. As someone who has already owned a few 400+ hp vehicles, let me just say that you rarely get to stretch the legs on a vehicle with that much HP.

For now I will wait and keep my faith in Chevrolet to the end. If there is no camaro built we may have a lot more to worry about than a new car anyway.

Last night I had the chance to drive the Challenger RT six speed manual transmission at a dealership. This car sounds good and runs strong. You can take it out of traction control and run through a set of tires in months. It cost $35800 and was not very loaded. I would consider it if it was a heavy optioned car.

OK the cream of the cream of the Dodge line is the SRT8 6.1 L Hemi Challenger and I drove it too. Cost is $45800 heavy loaded and this car sound good. I drove the six speed manual transmission and the power is a step above the RT. Turning the traction control off you would run through the set of tires in a couple of weeks. So much power you might need an attorney to ride in the back seat to handle the tickets. I would pick this above the RT!!

The Challenger is not a small car, and not quite the handling car I wanted it to be. It is sluggish in the curves....but has one smooth ride on some rough roads I was on.

I still want my SS/RS Camaro I am a fan of the legacy of the Camaro and definitely a GM quality minded person.

I'll keep my 04 Vette and build a none piston slapping engine for it.
