If you dont want to be loud stay with the stock mufflers. If you want a little bit a volume at idle, about stock sound crusing and increased volume at WOT then my mufflers are the way to go. I would say we are 4 a.m. friendly as long as you aren't leaving the neighborhood on the rev limiter!

Very nice system, though I would recommend the full system if you like more exhaust volume. |

Hello Guys. We here at Kooks Custom Headers take allot of pride in what we produce for our clients. We offer a few different variations of the 2010 Camaro system based on the research and demographics we performed prior to releasing the system. We made multiple systems so the consumer can make an educated decision based on personal preference and research performed on the web. We have been building headers and exhaust for over 45 years we use US sourced 304 from a mill that is located less then a half of mile away. The cats we use on the Camaro kits are a 400 cell per inch 200 more then the competitors. Yet we can produce the same if not more power. What this means to you as a consumer our catts in an emission stand point will burn more hydrocarbines an hour. So if that is inferior components can some one please explain? If you or anyone out there have a question about our system please feel free to call me direct at 704 768 2271. If it is after hours please pm me your number and I will make the time to call you to address your needs or concerns. Thanks George R

![]() Either way, these are both great systems. I went with ARH, And couldn't be happier. But, you can't go wrong with either one.

I know this is a v8 thread, but I have the ARH LTs on my 1LT and they don't hang low at all. Unless you lower the car by using shorter springs or adjustable struts, then you don't have to worry about the tubes hanging too low at the stock height.

I actually have Pedder's Coilovers on my vehicle. I am about 2 inches below stock.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with this. After comparing all the systems, I basically concluded that all the reputable brands of headers would yield similar horsepower results. I chose to keep the stock axle back exhaust to avoid any issue with drone. I can always switch the mufflers later.
Brandon at Maryland Speed gave me a much better price than anyone else who I spoke with. ![]() I chose the Kooks 1 7/8" headers and cats. With the money I saved I can easily buy an LS9 cam and BMR's full suspension bushing kit. I think I am going to take the plunge and go ahead and supercharge. |
