Its a shame what went down. I'm a huge Favre fan and his game, but he should have given them more of a heads up so they could snag McNabb or Jason Cambell. Then again, Vikes FO should have been a little smarter, too. Its tough to see one of the greatest, if not THE greatest QB in the game, walk away.

For today anyway, he still has the entire preseason to decide he's coming back. He's done this before and this time I hope he stays retired. I lost all respect for him when he started this yearly game of his. Just my opinion though.

OMG... Just when I was actually feeling pretty good about Delhomme leaving Carolina - he signs with Cleveland.

Than last night, Holmgren names Delhomme as the starting QB.. Great. Mr. I threw 18 INT and 8 TD last season.. Give me Bady Quinn back already would ya?!?!

I bet Viking Nation is rocking hard today with Favre's announcement - retirement. I like Favre, doesn't run his mouth, just goes out and plays football. Damn it, was hoping he'd be back for one more season. Who knows, maybe he will "change his mind"?

Things will be exciting with TO and OchoCinco in Cincy though - not sure whose head is bigger or who talks more BS, not sure there's enough room on the team for both of them..

Come on, I'm ready for some football...

It will surprise me if Farve actually doesn't come back. I won't beleive it til week 1. If you remember, he has "retired" 3 times already.

And you are right, your team wasn't the only one that got a bad call go your way. but it was the only one last year that was plastered on a double page spread on Sports Illustrated with the ball clearly out of the saints players arm and a ref starring straight at the play only 5 yards away.

The play was bogus, just like 100 others plays, and last time I checked we won by more than 7
