Good dealer to order from in Portland?

I have a quote request into both CamaroScotty and Becky but not thrilled about the cross country delivery. Does anyone have a good order experience in Portland? I work near Carr and have bought from Wilsonville in the past.

thanks!

Camaro Purchase in Portland

We ordered ours through Doug Harris at Wilsonville Chevy - had absolutely no problems with the process or order accuracy, and we love the car!

Thanks- I will give them a call for sure.

Follow up Question- Did they have allocation right away or did you end up waiting a long time?

I see you have the 1SS RS - How were the tires in the Rain? Did you end up changing them?

Here is a thread on here talking about Carr. I'm not saying good or bad, but what I've read, I'd be leary.

I didn't meet any good dealers in the wilsonville, Tigard or Beaverton area. I bought in Washington. (this is back in 2002). Because of no sales tax all the dealers in that area wanted to mark up the price to what you would pay with tax. I was very angry about that...

Thanks Jayhawk- I didn't get the best feeling when I was shopping at Carr. Both times I was there I ended up with the new guy with hand written business cards.

I will ask you the same tire question- How are the RS tires in the Rain? I don't really want to spend 1000.00 to replace them right away.

thanks

We ordered at the end of August, and it was delivered on 29 October. Well, it's been in the rain exactly three times so far, so not much experience in the rain!

I'd recommend you take an hour's drive west to the beach in Warrenton to Ocean Chevrolet. Jayhawk500 can give you all their details.

Nancy's

I have bought two 2010 Camaro from Nancy's in Sandy, I dealt with Tim Pullen. Ordered one took 6 weeks, that was last Nov, and the second one right off the lot, both times felt I was treated well, good price.

but that being said, I will make you a great deal on a low mile 2SS/RS

of course I had to say that

I bought mine from Ron Tonkin Chevy on 122nd. They were great when it comes to service and making sure you get what you wanted. Didn't have a single issue with them, also their service department is great as well. Call them up and see

Mayhoff,

HTWLSS has suggested my dealer out on the coast. She is very close on the name of the dealer.

It's Oceancrest Chevy in Warrenton. They have treated me very, very well. My Camaro was the first 5th gen delivered to them a year ago last May. It was also the first camaro delivered in the county. I can't say enough about about the customer sevice in the service dept and the Body Shop. The only person to talk too is the Sales Mgr, Jim.

They currently have a RJT SS/RSw/ gound FX, A red SS/RS, and a used red V-6. Hope this helps you in getting your car.

Before you buy give Hoppy at Curt Warner Chevy in Vancouver a call. His number is 360-798-4056. We have purchased many cars here in the NW, and when we bought the misses from Hoppy it was by far the best experience we have had.

You should call Dave Smith in North Idaho. It is a little bit of a drive but I don't think they can be beat on price.
