I called gm and they gave me my VIN and said it has been shipped to the dealership which is an hour away from the factory. I'm guessing its there already and if not for sure it will be there tomorrow so I will probly be dropping by to take a look. Too bad the dealer has to have the car for 48 hours before I can take it (at least thats what mine told me).

I got another update from camarotracking today... unfortunately, i still have the ominous, "On Hold at Osh" message. I hope they go over her with a finetooth comb and get all the bugs out! Now, if only they had a bullet train from Osh to the upper mid-west

Did you get factory stripes? I think they get held for striping outside the factory.

I hope you get out of quality hold quickly but either way I think you can rest assured that your vehicle will be perfect

It seems that once the vehicles get loaded in Osh, they make their way into Michigan and into the midwest fairly quickly. Since you're so far north, I hope you avoid the Kansas-Camaro vortex.

Ditto -- I've tracked my Camaro and my previous order. In both cases, striping seemed to only add a day to the cycle time after they came off the GM line.

Hallelujah, it looks like I'm FINALLY moving again. Just went through Lawrence, Kansas a few minutes ago. I'm now getting an updated arrival of Fri 8/6 at 2:30pm. Probably about right as my dealer called me earlier this afternoon and told me that I should have my car on 8/8 plus or minus a couple of days.

Just a tip for those still tracking incoming vehicles on rail: if you get the option to track on CSX versus UP from CamaroTracking.com, the UP data is much more up to date. The UP system will also fax you the information and give you estimated arrival times. The downside is that the automated phone system stinks! I find that I have to speak quickly but also very clearly or else the system times out.

You broke the kansas-camaro vortex hex!!!AWESOME!!!

I got my rail number today, so let me take your advise and use the UP system. The car's headed south, so that means at least two detours knowing my luck.
I can say for sure this has been some fun sideline entertainment!

mine was built last monday and stopped in georgia two days ago. ull prbly get urs in arond 5 or 6 days.

Just out of curiosity, did you have it fax the information to you? If so, did the system "hear" the right car tracking number?

Reason I ask is I didn't think much of the UP system until I realized it was not getting my car number correct when I received the fax. My car starts with ETTX, but it was interpreting EPTX or ETPX. I wish it would repeat the car number back to you on the phone so you can verify like CSX does.

It's a super pain but it seems the data is better.
