V6 Spare tire weight

Hi Guys,

If you guys can, please answer this fast. I'm having a debate with my friend. I told him the spare tire on the V6 Camaro is at least 70-80 lbs. He says that's impossible lol...

I may be wrong, but when I lifted it out of the car, it felt like 80 lbs.

Does anyone know the weight? An estimate of if I'm close or not will suffice.

is the spare smaller than the stock? if so, then it's lighter. the stock with tire and rim is around 50-55lbs each

80 lbs? no way. Thats more that the OEM 20" wheel and tire, and the spare is about 1/4 the size. My guess would be 30-35 lbs.

Now every time I lift my spare out I will still pretend it is 80lbs and consider myself the strongest man in the world, lol.

I had the spare out of my car yesterday. Didn't weigh it but NO WAY it was 70 or 80 pounds. More like 40 ish.

It's a little donut. Don't know why I paid for it with the RS/20's.

Yes, I suppose in a jam one 18" wheel with 3 20's isn't that bad...
