Yeah, I know doesn't sound logical. I wanted something different than the mti and to hopefully sure up some side slop. I realized how great it was after changing to the Hurst but after researching more I think I'm on track with mgw because it isn't just the stick. Anyone want a Hurst?

I just noticed that your reverse is on the left. mine is on the right side. anyone know if they changed that in the middle of builds or something?

LS and LT models have reverse on the left. The SS has reverse on the right.

This is an easy upgrade that I think all who try will apprecaite. I too have the white knob as well, and it puts a very retro cool look in the cock pit. I just got the boot nut yesterday and having it installed while the guys at MTI put the Borla Atak axle back system on my car.
Do you actually have to lower the transmission like it says on the site? Hmmmm... I want a short throw but I dont know which one to get now. MTI is sounding good since everyone on here that has, or had in one case, loves them....

i read that too but I think it's only to help get the shifter out. its not necessary cuz all I did was have my lil brother pull the shifter down past the driveshaft as i shifted from 1st and second to get the stick to get around the driveshaft.
