 and the other day i was racing this STS i did 110 on 3rd  I hope my parents don't see this LOL

I had the car at 140+ between turn 1 and 2 at Pocono driving the longer road course. The fastest I saw on the digital speedometer was 143, but I was hitting that speed just before the braking area, so it was just an occasional glance down each lap.
That was before I changed the exhaust too, the car could maybe just touch 150 at the same point on the track now.

I let some guy named Bob take mine out for a spin. He told me she got to 120 on an on ramp and got there stoopid fast...almost before Bob knew it...he just looked down at the speedometer when he settled into 4th and couldn't believe his eyes...

I guess this is Nature's version of population control.
 Kudos to those here who did their speed runs on a closed course, under controlled conditions. That's the right thing to do!

Well after looking at the supercar challenge last week, its clear that with enough power these cars can go close to 200 mph... the Fastlane Camaro did 189.5 and only took about a mile to do so... the engine was tweaked but the body looked stock enough....
