I agree, the black chrome looks better to me than the dark black either powder coated or painted. Good job, looks great!!!

Your wheels look great!!!!Check out www.calchrome.com. They do black chrome wheel exchange. 750 is better than 1200 on eBay and they did one of jay leno's cars. If going to spend 1200 might as well buy some tsw doningtons and keep your stock wheels

Where did you get them done at? Are you going to paing the lug nuts? I am in Austin (been looking around for places for a couple of months) and it pretty much sounds like I will need to put my car on jack stands in my garage, take tires to tire shop to get removed from rims, take rims to powder coating for 3 days, take rims back to tire shop and take them home. It would be about $450 for the powder coating.

I'm thinking about getting some black lug nuts, trying to decide whether I like the stock lugs going witht the chrome CAMARO text on the fender. I have a set of black CAMARO text but haven't decided whether or not to switch them out. Got the wheels done at ADM Performance in Lewisville. I didn't have to bring in the bare wheels like everywhere else wanted me to do. Mine is a daily driver so I couldn't go 3 or 4 days without my car. Andy at ADM got my wheels done in a day and a half, just brought them my car and they rebalanced the tires and put em back on back at his shop...couldn't have asked for a better result! PM you with a price.

Looks great. It's interesting how the color of powder coating seems to vary. I had mine done back in March

I'm thinking about getting these stripes put on sometime soon....black hood spears and custom black side striping. This car is in Germany, looks sooo good IMO. Thanks for all the love on the wheels though!

Thanks for the compliment, I wouldn't change anything about the wheels...EXACTLY what I was looking for and was much cheaper than the aftermarket wheels route. Now if I can just get these stripes on I will be just about set for cosmetics.

I took my wheels up to the dealership this morning. They took the tires off of the rims and at lunch I took my rims to the powder coaters. They are going to do the lug nuts as well. For now, my car is sitting on jack stands in my garage. I should have everything back together by Friday. The rims will be flat black to match the stripes and the bowties. I will get pics up this weekend.

Look forward to seeing the newly powder caoted wheels EagleKeeper! I was considering the flat black as well but black chrome caught my eye and won't show brake dust or water spots as easily.
