what does the 1311.73 get you? 4 shocks and springs? and is the kit available the same as what you did on the GS race car?

The Xa is a boxed set of four coilovers for the 2010 Camaro. The pictures from the G8 install show what you will have for the Camaro. The front strut mounts and bearing look almost the same, but they are different.

The 2010 Camaro rides on four coilovers. Each coilover is height adjustable. The entire 46mm monotube body screws into the clevis / lower mount to lower the vehicle and out of the mount to raise the vehicle. Adjusting the height does not alter the the spring load becuase they are independent of each other. That means you ride remains the same fully up or fully dropped. Some virtually unknown damper company has assumed the role of primary sponsor from Rolex. Brand-x supplied the coilovers... We custom made one off radius rod bushes for the new ZETA II radius arms. Those arms are the same length as the arms on my G8 but they are more linear and the position of the arm to the loop that hold the radius rod bush is more on center. The stud for the joint that connects the arm to the clevis is 2mm larger is my memory is correct. All these subtle refinements to the arm mean that it is more robust and the steering will have better feel. The changes also will handle the loads of larger wheels, tires and brakes. The custom radius rod bushes we made for the GS were the protoytpe for the radius rod bushes that are sold as street parts for the 5th Gen Camaro. That is what is so exciting about this. Pedders Street Parts made the grade by GM Racing for full on RACE USE. We have other compents on the GS as well. The front eXtreme Castor Washers. We include those with the Camaro Radius Rod Bushes. Rear Tow Lock washers. Toe link bushes. Inner rear control arm and upper control arm. I think that completes the list.

The OE bars on the Camaro are pretty good stuff. Our full on eXtreme Track would be better than OE, but how much better does a Camaro owner require. That is a personal decision. I will say that in my opinion the essentials absolutely must have Pedders bits for a Camare are the EP1169 Sub-Frame Bush Inserts and the EP6577 Radius Rod Bushes. The Camaro should leave the factory with them, but for NVH refinement reason they leave with voided rubber bushes and the radius rod bushes voided with hydraulic damping. Pedders would not make those parts that way. It doesn't make GM wrong. It makes the difference between Pedders and GM clear. They will be a very subtle change in NVH. Most who own a Camaro will never notice. Those who install headers or aftermarket exhaust would absolutely positively not be able to tell the difference in NVH. I would guess about 98.5% of those who drive a Camaro would notice how much sharper the steering and more settled the IRS is with these two Pedders bits installed.

The Camaro is a really really good vehicle out of the box and the best Camaro GM has ever built. With a few Pedders bits it is off the charts.
If I were doing a minimalist Pedderised Camaro I would order the EP1169 Sub-Frame Bush Inserts, EP6577 Radius Rod Bushes and the eXtreme Xa Coilovers 160086.

If I were to buy only one aftermarket parts for my new Camaro it would be hands down no contest the EP1169 Sub-Frame Bush Inserts. They are the best bang for the buck on a ZETA based vehicle.

Pete - Give me a call anytime tomorrow - I included my phone number in my email I just sent. I would also be interested in the bush inserts & radius rod bushes depending on what the cost is.
