Mike - One thing to consider - was talking to someone else who asked about gauges. A good combination is A/F and then boost. Two reasons - the A/F tells you what the engine is doing versus fuel pressure it may have available to it. Not saying that fuel pressure is not good to have, but many people notice the A/F leaning out before they notice a fuel pressure drop unless they watch the fuel pressure gauge a lot or it has an alarm. Also some of todays A/F gauges have alarms to tell you if you are leaning out. Just a thought. You already mentioned the boost/vacuum and that is cool because you have a tendency to drive to that gauge after you install it.

thanks speedster, i do have all 3 gauges ,but gauge works { autometer} is shipping me a dual pod and i have to choose 2 for now...my mech. is def on the a/f mix but leans more to the fuel pressure as i,m close to the 600hp range..but i have not seen anyone yet mention any problems yet with fuel pressure in this range so i may go boost. the triple pod was kicked back as they are having issues with the air bag...50/50 chance it will come out , it has not been scraped yet per greg @ gaugeworks who designs pods for autometer..but i still have not decided on boost or fuel..i,m not sure about alarm , i will ask my shop as they have gauges sitting in my parts bin..pod should be here this week. thanks.just ordered my cor concord color matched wheels today. 22x9 and 22x11 ..

well gauges are easy to come by...but you only have 2 pillar pods to choose...fesler{ some guys complained about fit tabs} other is autometer which is just hitting the market,,,look up eric @ stillen ...tell him mike sent you and he will give you answers...i went with aem gauges, like the look of them and got all 3 delivered for under 500...made a deal from gauge seller on ebay...nobody could touch his pricing ..jegs and summit had all 3 gauges for almost 750.00..autometer is nice but $$$..aem has a good reputation..saw a lot of porsche and ferrari forums where they were using aem..good enough for them , good enough for me..but if staying under 600 hp i think either fuel or boost would be fine..a/f is the real definite

Mike,

Can you put me in touch with the seller you went through to get the gauges?

Also where are you getting fessler parts? I really like the hood they had designed, but can't find them anymore.

Thanks.

Thanks, I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse. That's one expensive piece. I hope I don't break anything. Oh well, it'll be fun.

Did you ever have any maintenance related issues? Or did you have OEM style reliability?

You'll be fine as long as you don't drop a bag of stainless steel screws into the intake...lol

The first time you stomp the pedal with the KB, you will say "What buyer's remorse?"

Speedster, you're an enabler.

Now all, I need is a rear axle, clutch, and you to hook me up with one of those nelson racing motors after I win the lottery.
