OMG.........first the length of the stripes and now the color of the calipers........at least I didn't read that anyone is canceling their order if they don't get the color they want.

I appreciate everyone wanting something different, but like I said in the stripe thread.........GM can't meet the desires and whims of everyone or even the one most popular idea. They are going to produce our Camaro again.........beyond that, if you aren't happy with some of the options or color availabilities, go get some caliper paint and make them whatever color you want. Then it will truly be YOUR car.......

I know everyone thinks GM uses the forums to gauge interest and get feedback, but we don't need a damn poll for everything thinking that GM is going to change things that are already in motion.

Besides, is it not enough that you are getting 4 wheel Brembos. You could have crappy looking standard calipers that no color will make HP.

No, Zebra, the color as is is Silver. Now knowing Brembo I'm sure it's a beautiful metallic with clearcoat, but nonetheless, not a stand out color at much distance. I think that's a large part of why this thread took off, although it's not something likely to change for the early buyers. I bumped the thread for future buyers, of which I believe you are one, good luck!

And thanks, gtahvit!!

*facepalm. that's what i get for not or not going back & looking at pictures. z06 has red ones. whatever color they are, the point is that i don't think the plant needs to spend extra time & money on something as trivial as caliper colors right now. any way to change my vote?

Just like the stripe thread, I have the same opinion about calipers. If you don't like what the factory offers, do your own thing. I am strongly considering getting an IOM powdercoat
because I think it will look badass.
Maybe some people don't realise this, but we went, what, 8 years without a camaro? I am just happy to have one. I don't see a big problem with having to take care of minor details by myself. I like having a car a bit different than everyone else's.

I'm not sure which thread I saw the pretty good quality photo in, but it looks like our Brembo calipers are going to be a dark gray color. I'd rather have a different color myself, but it looks like that's what we're getting.
