V6 Stillen Splitter

Hi ladies and gents,

So I ordered a Splitter for the V6 Camaro a week ago. It just came today. I wanted to let the V6'ers see this, because for the life of me, I could not find a Splitter on the V6 Camaros ANYWHERE. The pictures are just of the product, I have not yet installed it. I'll most likely install it sometime this week =) I will post an update when I have some shots of the splitter installed. Here are some of the pics of the packages. I am very excited =D

Hey guys! Thanks for the support =D It should be installed by the end of the day, my friend is coming over to give me a hand. I will be sure to document everything and post a full review on my blog (link in sig). I write that blog for you guys, I have DIY, Performance tests, stories, etc. Just for you V6 Camaros Installing Injen CAI after splitter, hopefully today as well.

As for the splitter itself. You guys can find 2 brands from http://www.stillen.com/.
One is made by stillen, the other are made my Street Scene. If you have problems finding the actual products, just pm me, i'll link ya.

Both splitters look identical, at least I can't tell the difference. But Stillen is like $10 cheaper, I assume it's because it's their own product, where as StreetScene must have been imported. So i bought Stillen. The Splitters are made of polyurethane.. for those who don't know what that is... it's very very tough plastic like material. But it's not plastic. lol. Lots of splitter are made of polyurethane and its a tough material. They come with a warranty for Cracks and chips as well! Under responsible driving of course.

The splitter is defaulted to black. So sorry guys, I won't be painting my splitter because my car is already black. I'm not 100% sure if they paint it for you, but you can contact them for those who want them painted. Imo, I've seen different colored cars with black splitters, and it still looks awesome. Also, if you paint it, wouldn't you worry about chips? I don't even want to worry about that kinda stuff =p Food for thought.

Sorry guys, I have came to some complications to the install. I thought the bumper was an easy to remove process. I had a hard time reaching certain bolts attached to the fender. I think I'll need jackstands and remove the wheels for better access.

If anyone has any tips or ways to take off the bumpers easier, let me know. Otherwise sorry for the delay, I thought I could have installed it yesterday =(
