I put the Borla Touring Exhaust on for the very reason you stated. I have LT headers and I didn't want my car to be too loud. I like to hear my music when cruising. The Borla Touring did exactly what I wanted. It still rumbles under throttle, but it's quiet when cruising.

My understanding is the Magnaflow street and the Borla Touring are very similar that way.

I'm glad to see that you found a solution for your problem.

Not yet. IPS Brandon called me to tell me that it has arrived at their shop. However, IPS Motorsports, who are going to install it, are relocating to their new shop on September 1. With the move to the new location, they asked if I'd mind waiting until they move in to install the SC. So, it should be installed during the first week of September.

In the meantime, I've made arrangements with Showstopper to custom paint some engine compartment pieces for me that will be installed after the supercharger goes in. I am pretty excited to get all this work done.

Hey kook. I have the L99 also. I put the KOOK LT headers/3"cats/3"pipes all the way back/X pipe/magnaflow round muflers at the back end and the system sounded terrible. I took the car to a muffler shop who specializes in custom stainless exhaust. They added a resonator on each side just after the X pipe. That helped a lot. Later I took it back and add another resonator on each side just after the first ones. My car sounds great and the wife doesn't hate the sound of it anymore. It still has that deep throaty sound but not loud. NO DRONE IN THE CAB ANYMORE. I too have a SC. It's killer when I put my foot in it. My system is quiter than anybody elses I have heard. All 6 mufflers are straight through so they don't eat up HP. If you do this make sure you leave/make room for the 4 resonators. It's a tight fit but works very well....PM me if you have questions.

Can you post some videos? Just out of curiousity did you really need to buy a full cat back system? Couldn't you just have replaced the mufflers?

Butchering a Corsa catback is punishable by death.

.....ok i'm still waiting for a reason....a new magnaflow catback is like $1600 (based on their website)....a couple new mufflers would be....$400-$500? Just saying if his goal was to save money...I guess this way he could resell his corsa though.
