It's called taking some of an open market share, that's why Chevy would possibly do that. Vette buyers will buy Vettes and Camaro guys will buy Camaros. Sure, you will have some people who will buy a Vette but to each their own. A historic mistake...hardly? Even in this economy you still have to appeal to all levels of customers. Also, this is about the one millionth time that I have heard that "never been that expensive " argument and I will say again, has a Mustang ever been 55k before now? Things change, you just move on. Foolish is in the eye of the beholder. If you have the means, spend your money anyway you want. I know I will.

I just did it real quick with a Hue/Saturation/contrast adjustment in Photoshop. I can make it more purple.

I'm diggin it. Dark tinted windows with shiny chrome wheels would be perfect. I saw a purple charger the other day and it got me thinking that it may look nice on a Camaro. Thanks!

There are a few more great colors from the past that I can think of but can't remember the names of. I believe GM's got a good spectrum of colors now, and though I'm only really partial to a few, I think that there are enough to make the majority happy. It'd be nice, especially due to the styling, to get some more colors from the past, but if Camaro remains successful, that will only mean better things in the future. I'm certainly thankful for what we have and looking forward to what we get

I can`t wait to see one in person when completed. Let`s go Chevy! I drove a stock SS the other day, just going to wait to see the Z28. I do like the GT500 and its power. Time will tell....

I am hoping that Marina Blue (Original 1967 Z28 Color) or the more current Jetstream Blue color will be used on the new Z/28. Would you Photoshop wizards mind making a rendering in either of those two blue colors so I can make it my new wallpaper? Thanks I would deeply appreciate it.
