Dang...very nice!

Ford seems to be getting it right with this new Mustang...got the GT, now the Boss and the GT500...very, very nice!

Hope GM is paying attention to all of this

Livernois is already at 420whp (+40whp) with just a CAI and tune. This new 5.0L is responding very well with proper tuning of the TiVCT and freeing up the intake. Grabbing the next gear at max power near its 7,500 rpm redline must feel amazing especially given its light weight.

Given the approach GM is taking with the Z/28 my guess is that they know it and I agree with their approach of building a 'Camaro ZR1'...it makes more sense given the car it's based upon.
Since the Cts-v coupe handles the same if not a tick better than the gt-500 and wieghs almost 500lbs heavier, I don't see why they can't make the camaro a great handleing car. The possibility is completely there (its better balanced), look at pedders camaro, that thing corners like its on rails. Not to get too off topic, but if GM gives the option of the Z28s wheel/tire/brakes package and presumbaly stiffer suspension and a Gen V v8 (which is coming) to the SS I am sold. But this mustang will do great for people like me who take there cars to open track days. Not that many people I see who go to track days are completely stock. So I wouldn't say "any chance" just yet.

Love to see the BOSS make a return. No headlights in the grille. Finally a front end that looks good!!!

I agree with everything you said with the exception of the CTS-V coupe handling the same if not a tick better as a 2011 GT500 PP.

Great engine, just once you do all your basic boltons your stuck, with almost no way to add significant more hp affordably without a blower, thats just how it is with DOHC engines. Do your basic mods and throw heads and a mild cam on the LS3 and your easily at 480+hp at the wheels.

No matter where your loyalty is, you have to admit that Ford is really kicking some butt in the performance area and giving enthuisiasts cars they can really enjoy and use.

Whoa here, let's not get carried away. Yes the 5.0 is lighter than the SS, but it is still a heavy car. Those are some nice power gains.

Opps your right they are about the same, except when the road gets choppy, with that being said. I give the nod to the CTS-v. just to clarify.
