The V6 has more power than you will ever need for normal driving.... Go V6 if it's a daily driver or V8 if you plan on racing it at a track...

I will be completely honest with you. I ordered a V6 last summer.... and its a whole lot of car. It has more power than i need, but we dont buy these cars because we need them, we buy them cuz we WANT them. That being said.... even though my V6's 312hp is more than enough.... I still find myself itching for the V8. However my reasoning at time of purchase was more financially driven, thus limiting my choice.

So if you have the means...... go big. You only live once.

What I'm saying is the Synergy isn't (or wasn't) available in the 2010 SS's. With the 2011's, GM has made the option to go Synergy (minus some extra fluff) for ALL trims. This goes away of course but can be ordered now. So why wouldn't he get the 2011 1SS in Synergy?

oh ok, thats kinda what i thought you meant.

i can live without the green stitching on some things,

im possibly going to have the door panels on my synergy 2SS painted after i pick up the car.

or buy an aftermarket set when they come out,
or also there are green carbon fiber looking door panels on ebay,
lots of ways to go with it.

The door panels with stitching and plastic for the dash will be/is available from GM.

It may come down to the seats.

The shifter, steering wheel and the console lid. Those can be had I think from aftermarket.

I ordered 1SS synergy green, white stripes, black interior, 20" polished rims and A6 on 7/23/10. My dealer called me Friday, build date is this Monday, 8/16/10. Dealer will also be installing the console guages when it arrives. Should have by Labor Day.

Can't go wrong with a 1SS & SG combo.

Thanks for the input all - hoping I can work out the financing either way - as regardless if I've got a good gig and put a substantial down - I'm in one of those "credit challenged" buckets - STILL - 1 year out of BK discharge -

Hell or high water - I'm getting a Camaro - in SGM ..

wow - that was quick - congrats on the setup - my ideal would be the 1SS M6 - but hey, I can't be too chosy..

Can you get in with a credit union, that is how I salvaged my financial life after a similar set of circumstances.

nuff said - being a previous V-8 Camaro owner, I'm torn. (Been there, done that with the impromptu drags). Suppose I can mod out if need be - but do I truly need the extra 100 plus hp? There's still a few 2010 SGM on the local lots - yet for a few thou more - 1SS M6 and V8 power. Granted, no bluetooth, which I can add later.

Top of that - survived an ugly divorce, a BK , but thankfully, landed a great job a year ago - it's time to do something for me..

So - SGM or 1SS ? - and if anyone knows of a finance person that can help me swing the money part - truly appreciate it..

thanks!
I would not call it a "maro" unless you like negative feedback, that being said why dont you wait and order the synergy SS and get the color and the v8?

the color is the option not the V-8, IMHO. No replacement for displacement!!!!!
