Pole for interest in V6 tunning

We are considering the development of a new hand held programmer and would like some input from the V6 owners. Have any of you had your car tuned and if so, then what results did you see? Would a V6 specific programmer be of interest? If so what kind of tunes would you want preloaded on the programmer? Your input is greatly appreciated.

currently there is only one company that does tunes for the v6, and that's Trifecta. us v6'rs have kind of been getting the run around as to why. The reason we are getting is because they can't crack the ecm.

oh, and yes, i'd be interested. I'd like a program preloaded for my setup (in sig)

the lack of info on tunes for the v6 is what holds me back from looking further into headers. i would love to see more time invested into this, yes please.

We've been asking for tuning for a ridiculously long period of time. Get to work. Thousands will buy your product if you come to the market. If you don't, then you'll have a lot of angry people talking about how you baited the V6 market with a product and never delivered. To see evidence of this, visit the Forced Induction (V6) forum.

I am willing to contribute my vehicle to any local tuner willing to tune my LS for free. I am also willing to promote a company that does this withing forum rules and outside of Camaro5.

I don't get why people say the tune isn't cracked. Trifecta has done it. I have it and love it, Vince will update my tune everytime I get a new mod, for free (as long as it isnt FI or something lol). It's great. If I want anything tweaked, Vince will do it. Truely is a custom tune.

I am not trying to bait anyone here.I am looking for input from V6 owners and i clearly stated in the first sentence that we are CONSIDERING it.If we feel there is a big enough demand for the tuner after some research such as this thread we will then make a decision.

Try this for research: first to the market and longest exposure to the platform. While Trifecta does have an email tune available, you would be the first company to offer the coveted handheld option. Search the V6 section of Camaro5. People have been demanding this so that they can do what they want to the car, including clearing CELs, forced induction, and engine internal upgrades. This could also make engine swaps a possibility without having to replace all of the electronics.

You can be the pioneer of this market. Do you want to be the company that everyone's signature in the V6 market? I think you can make a great product if you get to work. Of course, you'll need some support for the product. If you get to work now, you might be able to get some help with funding from companies trying to release superchargers and turbo kits for the V6. They'll need your product to get their job done.

There is a huge interest in what you are offering to produce. Do it.

I'd be interested. It's what's pushing me away from long-tubes as we speak.

I know Trifecta is there. For that kind of cash I'd like to be able to have the cable full-time. I know the cable can be purchased seperately. I don't think I should have to, which is why a handheld would be nice.

How about working on a Turbo set-up for the V-6. That, with the tune, would be impressive? Any comments?
