Which gives a Mustang owner something to think about. I fail to see the value of that sort of Mustang specific information on Camaro5 though. Why aren't they hanging out on a Mustang forum learning about their ride?

It also helps us. Say for example someone Mustang driver in a new 5.0 is talking sh!t and wants to run. He says my 3.45s are no match for his 3.73s. Now, thanks to this thread, I know that a 3.73 geared 5.0 isn't going to be as dangerous to run against as a 3.31 (or whatever the case was, I forget atm) geared mustang.

In a point-of-fact scenario, information about a car other than a Camaro could be valuable. When it comes to something opinionated (looks, sound, blah blah) come into play, then they should probably not participate in something like that.

edit: I guess what it boils down to is you should appreciate the rivalry and competition, and give respect where it is due to the car and the owner unless they do something to make you think otherwise.

I think those numbers were backwards. I thought the 3.73 were the best. But then I don't care enough to look it up or remember. Doesn't affect me or the car. As I once said a while ago... you can give a knucklehead a 500hp car, and run it against a professional driver in a 400hp car. I guarantee the better driver will come out on top.

I wouldn't trade for a stock GT it would have to have some style to it. otherwise I would rather be in my 6. speed isnt what I care about being it is illegal to use it. kind of like a gun, why spend 1000's on guns when you cant go around shooting them.

lol yeah, but as was mentioned in the thread earlier - mustang guys come and screw with us so we screw with them. Like pulling a prank on any other rivalry really and makes for a healthy relationship . In the end though, it should still be based on respect. I would hope that every single person on this forum would go to war for their rival should something happen to their rival's car or whatever the case may be.

I'm a guy who has a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner in storage, so I'm a huge fan of American muscle. This particular thread, however was started by a newbie with an agenda...IMHO.

I bought a Camaro because no matter how hard I looked, in all different types of light, and from every angle I could imagine... I could not find one FKN FORD emblem on it.

YEP! User name CANNARO.... Whats his username on the other forums NNUSTANG?

No back link as proof he asked it on a Mustank forum?

Who refers to anything but a Mustank as a "Pony Car"?

Then conveniently his Troll cousins showed up to razzz...

I agree there was an agenda and he got what he wanted.

:troll:
