For the OP... Corsa is the best for hiding AFM noise... pretty much same as stock..

AFM may have been tuned out, but I don't know. I just never really felt AFM even before the tune and mods.

I have the MBRP set designed for the L99. I am content with it. I wanted that Borla sound but I knew the car sounded horrible too with AFM. This system is a bit quieter than I would like, but it has to have that extra resonator to deal with AFM. I didn't want to tune it out and possibly void my warranty. As far as drone goes, it is pretty good. There is some minor drone at start up until everything starts to heat up. There is some at 55 mph that can get annoying. Most of the time it is ok. It is annoying when the car is under load like when going up a grade or an overpass, or strong head wind. My wife hates it at those times. To eliminate it simply down shift to 5th and it is gone! At Interstate highway speeds there is none at all.

You probably just didn't notice it when stock and now I can almost guarantee you it's turned off or you would hear it. (like when you noticed the square wheels) Did Fastlane send you a flash tune? I haven't heard of any tuners that leave it activated with LTs.

My custom tune from Jannetty came with it disabled.

Hey Mac. I see you're from Indiana and have the catback borla atak and K&N intake that I'm thinking about. Also considering the Corsa catback system. Anyway, maybe this fall we meet up for a drive down in Brown County so I can hear your setup. I'd like to hear as many catback systems as possible before making the move. The youtube vids just don't do enough justice for me.

T&T is doing my tune. I chose to have them do it thru e-mail and hone it in that way. More cost effective and I don't want to Dyno Tune it till I 'blow' it.

Maybe it is disabled.

I do get a drone that's thereat certain speeds and is constant, but it just doesn't bug me too much.

With AFM all 8 are always available. Just not always firing.

I'll tell you this. Even with AFM active, it doesn't take a blink of an eye for those other 4 to fire up.

See, I'm the same. IF mine is still on and that's the drone I'm hearing, I'd like to turn it off. But I'm guessing mine is either off, or not noticeable.

Lastly...boomer are you going to the OU/FSU game? I am looking for tickets...I am not big on going to opposing stadiums, but all the OU fans down here in FL are very respectful and good sports. Then again when you win all your home games like you guys do, there is really no need to be an ass lol

Yeah..... it's off... Drone is completely different and you knew some of that was coming w/ the Borlas...
