can't even tell you how badly I want to go to this. There's not even a road track within 400 km's of where I'm at.

I can haz track day?

Planned Route from Virginia...

Blackhawk6....if you can do it I suggest taking a slight detour on your way and heading over to the Tail of the Dragon. It will add an hour or maybe two but since you're breaking the trip up into two days that shouldn't make too much difference. I'd head over to Asheville, stay the night then the next day make my way over to the Dragon and then head towards I-75 for the trip to Oxford...If you haven't had a chance to ride the Dragon it's worth the little bit of effort to get there, and your pretty close as you make your way to Oxford.

Who else wants in on the Camarovan from North Texas? A few of us will be leaving DFW area headed straight East on Interstate 20.

No problem that sounds like a great Idea. We could possibly stay in Asheville also and all head down together. All are welcome to join us.......

During registration, we are asked to choose a number. Will we need to have that number on our cars?

Yes we will have to put numbers on the side of your car, so make sure you bring a can of spray paint with you.....LOL blue or green painters tape is all you are gonna need..
You can also order numbers to stick on your side..

The track will have a gate fee of $5 per person whether you are driving or spectating.

Yes, you will need a number so the track workers can identify you. When you register online, you will have to select a car number. You can use blue painters tape, shoe polish, or whatever. I recommend purchasing the car numbers from the same site you register with, ( www.clubregistration.net ). They'll look "more official".
