Trying out this exhaust or non exhaust, (MORE VIDEO) video included.

Massive 5" tips, muffler delete. Anything over about 4k rpm sounds imo like crap.. enjoy.

Added more video

Another video of it parked idle and rev

Its really hard to tell from the videos. They are to short, plus it might sound different under load.

Well in idle I see potential sound wise. At high revs, it really doesn't do anything over stock or for me.

Cut the resonator out and X-pipe it and it will sound better.

When you are taking off there is a weird snap crackle pop sound, that comes out of nowhere and ruins the deep rumble.

+1

That take off crackle sounds like ass. It should have a deep rumble, not sound like a bunch of pissed off rice crispys. Those tips stick out WAY too much. IMO they look much better when they're more even with the diffuser and beveled.

Actually stock it sounds the exact same way on that take off its just amplified and louder with these. Love the way the car sounds with these up to 3k even stock isnt bad up to 3k, then they both fail pretty bad. It sounds like a swarm of bees inside the car. Also not sold on the tips either. Might rip it all back off tomorrow.

I was gonna call it raspy, but thats worse than raspy, thats why I used the rice crispies analogy.

My setup is raspy at times, but thats only in the first minute of driving when the pipes aren't warm yet.

I am gonna try it out on the way home tonight about 60 miles and see what normal traffic and driving are like. I don't think I WOT very often, I guess I will see on the way home.

Do NOT do this....instead if you want to keep on the cheaper side of things, cut out the H-pipe, add in a resonated-X pipe, and keep the resonators.

I bet most of your rasp will go away and should have a nice tone, but down side is you may lose some rumble.....

I'm at work, still have yet to listen to these, but I will!
