Auto Shifter Boot Mod - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I saw the leather boot on the CTS-V and thought it looked pretty good. Got one for the Camaro and now I can't get the auto shifter bezel off. The four visible screws are out, but, it seems like there is a latch or something holding it on.

Anyone know what's up?

Got it! There are two latches just forward of the rear of the bezel. Just pull the side panels off of the console to access them.

It's just the GM manual boot.

Awesome! I will be doing this soon. Did you remove the shifter trim too (the part with PRNDM) or just cover it with the boot?

Just curious on cost from GM since we offer a solid leather for only 79 dollars. The GM is not leather either. (Not bashing ) just stating.

Yup. I removed the shifter trim. It's all naked under there.

Again, not bashing, curious what the cost was and informing those that may not know. I think it looks good, this is why we developed one.
