Thanks , Im exicited for my wife to race our car. Hopefully I can get her lined up with a few stock Challengers. Something about getting beat by a Camaro would be Bad for them im sure. However getting beat by a women in a stick shift Camaro would be much worse! Either way it should be a fun trip , about 5 hours for us and hopefully good weather.

That will be awesome for your wife. The Challenger boys are all really great, but it is fun when the women get involved too ! Congrats to you wife !!!

At C5Fest, the little blue Camaro that made it to the 1/4 finals of the Quick 16 are my friends that I invited. She is only 4'11" and originally from Panama, and it was her first runs on the 1/4 mile (she is pretty new but had made passes on the 1/8 mile). She just eaked out a win against Jon in his Challenger and he was a great sport about it. But the women do bring so much to the competition.

One of the funniest lines was one of the big guys from Fastlane came over when they just narrowly beat her and asked "so watch got in that thing?"

Her reply was "a small block and a pillow" [She needed the pillow to see over the dash and reach the pedals.]

I am frustrated because I want to take the SST in the worst way, but the parts just aren't available yet.

For the record, the weather did not cooperate. A few people went to the track later Saturday afternoon, but most only got one or two runs in before the rain hit again.

I'm not sure, as they didn't hit the track until after 4pm and I left around 1pm. I'm sure Speedy and some of the other participants who are headed back to the track today will have some timeslip info for everyone later this evening.

Ill try to post up some pics and videos when I can. Saturday morning and evening were rain outs. There were only 3 fifth gens that showed up Sat. afternoon. A synergy green V6 , Lunch moneys L-99 and my LS-3. My wife did get to make her first pass of her life and left the line a little hard spinning her way to a 13.70 at 106. She was pissed she didnt get another shot at it due to the rain. Either way I was proud of how she did , she out ran a lot of cars with the horrible weather her E.T. corrected to a 13.22 at 110. I may never get to race the car again as much fun as she had!!! We did not stay for sundays races some of the guys were going to make a few passes from 12-2.

I just seen where a couple of the guys that ran today were SRT5939 he went 11.0 at 126 and Speedy went 12.92 at 109.

I didnt get the chance to make a pass. I made it all the way to the staging lanes for our second pass , then it poured on us. I didnt let my wife race at Camaro fest so I was making up for it by letting her run before me. Little did I know it was going to be our only run. My wifes 13.70 was the fastest pass out of the N/A bolt on and stock Challys and Camaros that were able to run on Sat. afternoon. A 13.91 was the closest to her from the videos ive watched , most were low to mid 14s.
