Please don't get worried until we are told otherwise. Understand that GM wants the car to be correct and have happy customers. Sure, they might be having problems but it's better to correct it now rather than after ya'll have your cars and are pizzed. They've done a wonderful job up to now and there's no reason to expect things have changed. Since it seems they're meant to be easy to change anyways even if they aren't ready to go a SRP maybe they can just ask to have the cars serviced and install them later after any bugs are worked out.

It's better to be safe and voice our opinions then to be sorry and say nothing. It can't hurt us to let GM know how we feel about ABL assuming they did decide it wasn't a big deal to leave it off.

When people voiced their opinions about a blue SS, look what happened. It never hurts to speak your mind since the customer is always right.

I say send the double E, and the ME can go with him....in a black Suburban. BryGo can handle the electrical side of it and stratman can do any "mechanical" adjusting of attitudes that might be necessary.

Just kidding, GM, I'm sure you're capable and already on top of it. But a few extra days off around the Holidays to spend with family and friends....I don't think so...you need to keep your noses to the grindstone on this one!

Ambient lighting was a well advertised part of this new car, and Mustang has had it since 2005. I expect it to be in the new Camaro and if its not, id consider it a total failure on GM's part.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I think this survey should also include the voting option: I would still order my Camaro, but would be upset with how everything has transpired.
And get rid of the 'I would still purchase the Camaro', and change it with 'I would be happy with the Camaro without ABL'. I think many people would still buy the Camaro simply because its still a great car, but that doesn't mean they are happy that ABL isnt included.

Ambient lighting would NOT affect my decision to order at all.

To be honest, my Dad's 'Benz has it, and after the first week of ownership, you kind of forget it's even there.

It is a cool feature, but not important enough to affect my buying decision.

'I would be happy with the Camaro without ABL'
That's the same thing as "I would order it anyway". The poll is just to help GM know what people think about ABL...they don't care if you're happy or not as happy when you buy the car, just as long as you buy it. GM has 3 types of customers.

1) Diehard fans who buy no matter what
2) People on the fence
3) People who switched to foreign after a bad GM past purchase

They don't care about #1...well they do but they don't need to...#1 will buy the car without ABL. #1 will buy whatever GM coughs up and defend it to the death. #2 and #3, the average buyers...they are the ones GM needs to get.
By leaving off ABL:

-#2 might go away because it might be that one cool option that pushes them to the Camaro over another car. Goodbye #2!
- #3 might go away because cancelling options might show lack of proper management over at GM...announing features and then leaving them off. Bad form; that won't make them want to switch,...#3 needs reliability. Goodbye #3!

Needless to say, #1 can not and has not carried GM. They need #2 and #3. They need to put everything in this car that was promised on that October order form. Nothing less will suffice.

There are a lot of #1's on this site, and no insult intended if you don't care about ABL, but this feature is important. Every feature promised is important. YOU, the diehard fans, can not carry GM...the average buyer is going to do it. I'm the average buyer. I have no loyalty to GM or the Camaro past; I'm buying this car because it's the best damn car in the price range. But if they leave off this feature or others...if they do anything different then what they promised when i ordered it, I'm out. And I won't be the only one.

ABL really needs to be on this car. GM has "dangled the carrot" in front of our crowd for way too long now to not include it in the final production. While I agree that it doesn't make or break the car for me and would order it anyway, it should be there by production or I will be disappointed.

It's not really about the ABL as it is a broken promise. If we let them ignore ABL, what's to say they won't ignore something else? It's not unreasonable to want what was promised.
