And I am looking into letting Hennessey give my 2010 Camaro 2SS IOM (which I am in the prossess of buying) the once over. I am thinking a HPE1000. This one is still nameless! Any ideas?

Nice Tolkien and dragon reference. I was thinking of going with "Vermithrax" from the movie "Dragon Slayer", but I got talked out of that (although I'm still thinking). Thought of a bunch of other names, but I may go with the Egyptian deity Anubis, the jackal, who watches over the dead, being a black car and all.

i think that naming your car reveals the true dork in you. not quite the same as naming a boat/ship.

it's like you see some dude roll up in a bad-ass Camaro... then he gets out, and starts rubbing the car with a diaper and he calls it "Sally" - and you immediately think "what a nerd..."

"Pannther" with two Ns because of my mom. Her name was ANN. So pANNther.

She died earlier this year, and in a way she helped me buy the car. Mom had a '74 Camaro when we were kids.

Also, Panther was the code name for the '67 Camaro during its inception at Chevy.

Every woman that I have ever dated(long term) or gotten married to(1) have come into the relationship knowing full well that I would be faithful and true, but if I ever had the chance to see/meet Sandra Bullock .... well let's just call it a get out of jail free card. So I have appropriately named my Camaro Sandy, because let's face it ... at my age, the odds of actually meeting the real thing are slim to none.

HAHA. My sister had a college friend that was her identical twin (born from different parents). It was REALLY weird. Back when The Net came out, I thought it was her.
