how about something new that doesnt use the cover already supplied...there are a ton of covers for the ss including a completely new carbon fiber looking one...but there is nothing for the 6...

I don't necessarily mind the stock engine cover...that being said, my curiosity is perked to see what you come up with.
Something that's unique/has a number of options for customization would def have me interested for the right price

The silver one is from the Cadillac CTS which uses the same engine as the V6 Camaro. I think it might be cool to buy it's cover and see what kind of reaction you get at shows when you open your hood and people get a look at that badge!

I hate engine covers. I sold mine, ripped out the felt piece, and even took off the mounting bolt.

Here it is. The cover fit fine under the strut tower brace by the way. In fact, I took it off after I installed the brace.

This was my design for an engine cover mod. TonyNo from Chicago even made a prototype of it....

I'm not a fan of engine covers at all typically, I've seen some painted ones that look awesome but the covers are not for me, if you ask me a hose relocation kit is where it's at.

I like my color matched v6 engine cover. $285 well spent.

I did originally wish it was painted along the sides as opposed to the center i.e. the v8 or like the ferrari or audi look.

I see what you're saying though.

and idk what this is, but it looks like our 6 with decorations:
http://www.britishv8.org/MG/BillSpohn.htm

*note
I have this conspiracy theory that part of GM's plan is to have at least 1 thing that makes different types of camaro's 1 step up as the years/options go

i.e. hp increase in v6, HUD, the onstar app thing, the arrival of the convi, the z28, a supposed interior re-do...maybe a new engine cover will be their next thing

lol idk
