Ah, don't pick on those guys from the Southland. If I had to pick a group of people to do business with from any area of this country, it would be folks from those old Confederate States. The natives are straight shooters...they say what they mean, and they mean what they say (even though they can be a little difficult to understand sometimes). And IF they give you their word, they'll move heaven and earth not to break it!!!

A Boston accent is, imo, the absolute worst of all the US accents.

NY and extreme Northern NJ aren't ones I care much for either.

Also I came down here to Alabama from New Jersey and southern folks are very nice and polite people in 90% of the cases. Alot of race issue though in the area I live where it is a 50/50 population split black and white.
