Why can't we be friends?....
We can! The Challenger R/T knows a good car when he sees one, and maybe even make it look a little better when parked beside the Camaro.
Found him parked out beside me last night at the Ruby Tuesdays where I live. Holly says "aw, isn't that cute!" But it's good to see the mutual respect we have for each other, Chevys, Dodges, and Fords.(cell phone pic)

I get that too. It's nice to see in the parking lot. A few guys at work have Mustangs and Challengers, and we always park next to each other. I'm guessing it because we know we won't ding each others doors.

Yeah, we have a couple of Mustangs and nice BMWs at work and we all park together out of mutual respect for cool cars and to protect our paint jobs. Most of the muscle car guys just really like to see muscle coming back. I have to say, that new Mustang 5.0 is a sweet ride. Not trading in my Camaro any time soon, but I can appreciate it all the same.

I always think my car looks so big, but next to the Challenger, the Camaro looks small.
My sister and I have Camaro's and my baby brother just bought an Orange Challenger RT. He calls it "The Camaro Killer".. Says he just couldn't pull the trigger on the Camaro because of the wide hips. Told him he should like the wide hips - reminds me of his ex-wife.. ![]() He's in FL, I'm in NC and sis is in CA. We're never be together for a group photo damn it... Nice pic.. |

Of the 3 automakers, I have to admit I like the Challenger body the best. The interior is little blah but when they all decided to go Retro the Challenger got done right. A little wider rear stance would be nice but that's Mopar for you.

Those cars are almost an exact negative of to ones in my pic. This is my co-worker's Challenger R/T when we were at the hotel in Newport News, VA while we were in school.

Nice pics...all.
These cars all compliment each other well when parked close. When in town I always give a thumbs up to Camaro owners. Muscle car esprit de corpse I guess. Too many Mustangs to do that for though. My thumb would get a cramp LOL

i usually park next to this corvette in a parking lot provided for commuters who ride the amtrak train to work. its a big spot way down toward the end of the lot (next to an island) , can probably fit the vette and a prius lol. i invade his space a little by parking on the line or over the line by a couple of inches to prevent the potential person on the other side of me from dinging my door.
one morning i pulled into the lot and someone beat me to my normal spot so i circled looking for another suitable spot and noticed a guy sitting in his challenger on the street right outside the lot (a lot of people prefer the parallel park) staring at me. so i came out the lot, busted a u-turn and came up behind him to park. as soon as i pulled up he jumped out his car grabbed his stuff and yelled out "nice car bro!" i laughed and told him how much i loved the challenger as well and we rode the train into work and talked about the camaro the whole time lol i had to shift the focus of the convo onto the challenger. he said "i saw you pull into the lot and i thought to myself, neh he doesnt want to do that..." now we park back to back everyday, this was about a week ago...
