Update:

If you don't like drone do not do this.

The wife and I actually like it. It sounds like a C4 stock corvette at 65mph and 75mph inside the car. In normal driving I don't break 3k rpms so the crispys didn't come out on the drive home. It is loud though and not in a terribly bad way. The tips are huge and really shiny, still not sure how I feel about them. They almost take up as much space on the back as an SS with the rectangle chrome trim. The tone at idle actually changed by the time we got home and idled on the driveway it had much deeper pitch. Might have to take another video. Up to 3k rpm's this is might actually be a pretty slick set up. I think I am really happy the trashcans are gone and that is playing into some of this too.

Not good long term IMHO. It's just too loud for me. I would rather hear a straight pipe Harley than that if I want to hurt my hearing. The LLT sounds better when it's refined, not tryingnto be a bruiser like the v8 can sound naturally.

Just my 2 cents...

Update:

After having this setup for 4 or 5 days and about 400 miles.

It is completely different between cold < 15 mins and warm > 30 mins of driving. Under 15 mins is ricey and crispy like the videos. Over 30 mins it is more mellow and lower, still drones but not poppy and as raspy. Could that be the timing after its warm or the pipes after a certain temp. is reached?

Yeah - I tried something like this and was almost embarrassed of the sound. I had to go back to the standard Solo Mach XLT setup.
Putting on the Roto-Fab intake was a huge improvement overall.

Bear in mind also that the cats have to warm up.

Yep. I have noticed that after having the LTs and MRTs on for about 4 months now.

Well that explains alot. IMO the videos we are seeing for all the exhaust systems need note that the cars are not warmed up. I mean in most of them condensation comes out of the pipe on startup. The tones would be far different if the the videos were taken after the cats warm up apparently.

do you have any other mods installed that could affect the sound like CAI or headers? If you dont, will the sound be deeper if you did?

I don't have any other mods, and yes I believe both would make it deeper. I am prolly going with some mufflers here shortly, it is just too loud from a stop. Highway at 65 and 75 not bad but accelerating is not a good scene, it can be heard blocks away, and sets off car alarms in parking garages.

Because it was over a year and half ago and there are better options for the V6.
