I Received A Different Letter From GM

Ok, just called the 800 number and found out that everyone that has ordered will be getting one of these "Welcome Kits" as she called it. For those that have not gotten the first letter yet and got the Workbench sheet, I suggest calling your dealer and make sure you are in the system. You may want to call the 800 number too and see if they can direct you somewhere for help.

Got mine today. I never recieved the first "thank you" letter, but I got this one. Pretty cool. And yes it is framed already

ok so i ordered mine 10-13 have not gotten either letter. i have talked to the dealer, he says i am in the system. i have my orignal order along with all of my change orders. i am starting to get a little upset. anyone in iowa get one?? oh yeah what 800 number??

I hadn't received the first letter when all of a sudden the new one showed up in the mail. I was at work and my wife who had the day off called to tell me it came. I had her read it to me and knew right away it was different than what was arriving to everyone else. I immediately left work to come home to see it. (Got that kind of job.) Maybe they are different because they wanted to get something out but did not have the picture ready yet. Or maybe due to how excited we all are on this site they decided to go an additional step?!

At first I thought I was not receiving the first letter because I had heard they were having problems with special characters, like the "&", which was on my receipt from the dealer. They had made the original Purchase Agreement out to my wife and me. However, when obtaining a copy of the Workbench Order I noticed it was only in my name.

I live across the lake directly south of Oshawa, about 90 miles away. Maybe because N is close to the manufacturing plant we saw ours first, assuming that they are coming from Canada and not Detroit.

In any case, I happy to have it and it will be framed before the weekend is over. By the way, I ordered my 1SS on November 1.

Man im gettin upset--lol--my mail came and went today no letter---ive never received the first letter either-----My dealership even called me this morning asking if i had received the letter--but my mail hasdnt come yet --nowwwwwwI axiously wait till monday --tees me off --and my mail during the week doesnt come til 330 in the afternoon

i dont think thats the case cause im in california and got mine same day as you. maybe its all november order dates cause mine says the 3rd
