What DID you pay for gas

A comment on another thread gave me the idea. What is the lowest price you remember paying.

I remember paying .89 a gallon in high school - a five would give me almost half a tank.

I remember gas prices at about .69 or .79 back in new York. I pay 2.69 now for premium.

For me it was .21 for my car, and when I was younger cutting grass .14

I was able to go to the Shell Station and for less than a quarter, get a gallon of gas and a bottle of pop. I could get a 10oz. pop for .10 out of the machine, and my favorites were Nesbitts Orange, Double Cola, or Masons Root Beer ... Ah those were the days ...

I think iy was something like .67 back in the mid eighties for regular. Paid 9/10 of a cent a gallon for about a year, that's a long story with a friend that used to work at a gas station in the late eighties.

Sounds like a long story that probably wasn't all that legal.

I got my license in 1997 and IIRC I think I was paying like .89 a gallon.... And I had a 4 cylinder Chevy Cavalier so the $70 a week I made working minimum wage at McDonalds got me very far! lol

Got my license in 1967

Regular .27 Gal.
Premium .31 Gal.

No mid grade back then.

Get three other guys together, all chip in .25 and we could ride around all night for less then $1.00.
