Friday, after years of waiting, saving, and waiting some more, I finally bought my dream car. I am more than thrilled, and can't wait to start the mods.

Speaking of, can some of you in Houston recommend a tint shop? I've heard Houston Tint from some, but would like to get some thoughts from other Houstonians.

Nice SS you got there! Are you getting any stripes? If so look into CGM or Black, they both look good on RJT.

yes, i am waiting until I get my SLP hood, and then I will get CGM rally stripes painted on.

Performance Auto Tinters... in Conroe..$135 Had them do both my Camaros and they also do the dealerships up there.

For mods, not tints, look into Houston Performance Shop. It is just inside Belt 8 off 249. They did a real nice job on my Mustang and i saw several Vette's rolling around. Damn cheap on the labor to boot. I had planned to take my Camaro there when I started modding... but yeah that obviously changed, lol.

Good set of guys down there.

Where are you getting the SLP hood? I didn't know you could get the hood by itself....

Go with Infinity Tint. It's by the Texas Roadhouse on I45 (N of BW8). Did both my camaros and a friends. VERY good work and very good price. Dropped off at 8 and was done by lunch.

As for performance shops, IMO if you're in Houston then you should be going to Late Model Racecraft. Steven and Josh have been doing the GM thing for years and always good to their customers!

when you get ready to do some apperance mods look at our options for the camaro's i think the dark smoke tint on the lights would look awesome on that color car! also bowties!! all of our products you can install your self everything comes with detailed instructions lmk if i can help you out

You can order them direct from SLP, and there are also others online that sell them. They are slightly different from the hood on the SLP575 and etc, but I still like the look. I will SC this car at some point, but I will wait and enjoy it as is for a few months first (except maybe CAI and axle back).
