Lets not forget about Robin Lawrence and his LSA Drag car over 700RWHP on the stock drive train.

They do have a new tranny but stock drive shaft, rear end and half shafts...

A lot of it is how you drive, agreed.

Side stepping the clutch is a bad idea.

Nor do they hook very well.

I'm not saying he shouldn't buy halfshafts.

But as long as he's not dropping the air pressure and launching hard on a prepped surface or running DR's, and NOT side stepping the clutch at over 3K he should be fine.

Daily driving fun on the street (within reason) should not casue him any problems.

But in fairness, he is/I am playing with fire. I think, we've done a good job of making him aware of the situation. Lets let the man enjoy his build and make a decision about driveline components when he's ready.

Car should be dynoed today. I am having my stripes painted on while it is in Tim's shop. So he is having to schedule around that.

I'm waiting as well and I'm on vacation. Wish I was there while they have it on the dyno. I really like the look of your white camaro by the way.

dyno w/headers & cai

ok here you go we gained 31 rwhp & about 10lbs of tq and you will see we didnt lose boost
one thing yo have to rem is yes we had stock air intake on car with first dyno runs. but we had cut the botom out of it to give it more air (per whipple)

Nice! I`m assuming no addnl tuning was done after the headers and CAI were added, correct? No drop in boost so that saves me from ordering the smaller pulley. Thanks for the info guys! You saved me some money.
