Ok, I talked to Ben at PUR about this today. I do all the late model GM tuning there, so I have a pretty good working relationship with Ben (he's the service manager). He is definitely interested in hosting something.

For those that don't know, PUR is right down the street from Mattingly's. It's also known as First Capitol 4WD. Ben noted that he will do dyno pulls at a rate of $50 per car with a ten car minimum. That $50 will get you three pulls. He also said he would consider discounted tuning rates for people interested. They've got a nice big parking lot, too. Their shop car should be ready by then as well... It's going to be an E85 car powered by a Procharger D1. It should be pretty gnarly.

Just a time would be needed.

2011 owners wanting a tune might have to wait, though, because the latest HP Tuners with the 2011 definitions has had a couple reports of no-start conditions after a reflash. Hopefully an updated version will fix this.

I checked and both days will work for me, The dyno at PUR sounds like a great idea as well. I'd be up for some pulls on one.

DSteck what type dyno do that have? just curious.

It's a 2WD DynoJet, but it's not an LC.

I'll be in for the 25th if it comes together in St. Charles. If anyone is interested the final Hot Summer Nights on Bagnell dam strip is September 10th. I've met up with several other gen 5's, as well as every other generation of Camaro at the previous events and had a great time. The diversity of vehicles that have been on display has been awesome and well worth attending. There are NO fees involved, it's family friendly, and bring your cameras.

Everyone on this thread please jump over there on the other thread and let everyone you''re coming. And DSteck please add in again about the Dyno you have scheduled practically right across the street from Mattinglys. thanks for the jab gettin this started folks..
