Oil catch can question
I searched around but could not find any answers , maybe because it is a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyways....
, but by installing a Oil catch can will it void the factory warranty ?And do you really need one if the Camaro is only for daily driving ? The reason I ask is that I see a lot of members on here installing them I just wanted to know before I do .. Thanks to all in advance ! |

It going to maintain you engine clean of contamination and oil in your intake. Is better to have it than not but for some stupid factory rules who knows what happend to your warranty!

idk about this... i mean most of the people who bought camaro don't have one, and the warranty will cover any problem like that, if it was a big problem GM would have done something about it... are they going to fix thousands of cars when there are hitting 50k -80k miles under warranty, yes, but they wont want to... and it will cost them money, if it hurts your engine that bad.. i guess it is better for your engine, but shouldn't be a problem tell down the road... me personally dont see me putting on more the 40K miles on this car

For $100 it's worth it to keep excess oil out of your intake manifold. |

I'm kinda thinking it would be very hard to void a warranty over a simple catch can. They don't void them for CAIs. Best bet is check with your service manager..
