I bought a truck in santa barbara, the dealership drove to BAKERSFIELD (much farther) and picked the truck up the same day. Then I drove from Lompoc to Santa Barbara and picked it up.

To clarify the few post asking why not drive down to the paso location and pick the car up. I was told the car was their two weeks ago and is now gone, the only thing the paso dealership will tell me is that they sold or traded the car two weeks ago and It was on their lot but is gone now.

They are shady,, it is your choice whether or not you continue to do business with them, but in my eyes, you don't really have a right to complain anymore if you knowing continue to be jerked around, and lied to, and given the silent treatment.

Sometimes principle means more than getting a car sooner. By sheer principle I wouldn't be doing business with them. But again, that is completely up to you.

I agree the rio vista location has lost my interest in getting a car from them. What im going to do is wait and see if the car they found is my car by checking its vin number. If they vin don't match i will be walking away.

I think if i have to order a new car i will asking a dealer here on the boards that is the closest to me if they want a new customer.
