That's ****ing ridiculous. I've heard retarded things come out of dealers mouths to get out of doing work before but that's king of retards. I doubt the car made it out of the factory with a leak since they do that megawash test on it, something must've happened.

The window indexing might not be working correctly.

I missed that part, lol. Obviously, the touchless/brushless ones are harmless.

It only gets washed with the wand at a self service bay & then hand washed & chamois off. Not the automatic with the whirling brushes. It went through a touchless car wash after the tech said it didn't leak.

Get this, when the tech opened the pass door to look at it & the window indexed down he said that's not supposed to do that!! He didn't know that the windows were supposed to index! Corvette has done this for years. I would think this would make them water tight. O well we will see.

Looks like when the woman at Oshawa checked your car out she missed a few spots. Honestly I wasn't very impressed with that leak inspection...one person sitting in the driver's seat, looking around. She should park her a$$ in all seats during the leak test.

Ya, I'm guessing that the pass window is not indexing properly. Check the manual as it's a simple fix if that's the problem. PS: Your dealer is a moron.

I took my Corvette convertible through a touchless one time...I was soaked when that experience was over. Our 04 XLR was just as bad...a car wash did the inside and outside of the car.

These cars should NOT leak...no holes in the roof. I guess if I get one, I will drive it through a car wash first to see if I need to wear a bathing suit when it gets washed.

Doesn't the manual talk about the car having possible leaks (or rather what appears to be leaks) when taking it through high-pressure washes?

No,leaks here....hope I didn't jinx myself! I'm sure you know the 'high pressure' wands can be damaging in the wrong hands, decals, pin stripes, etc. They are a necessary evil though, especially in the colder climates. Oh,the dealer guy is a moron. I bet GM would love to hear that bunk about their product!

no leaks though when the windows index and it is wet out you can get a little water inside that way, but no visable leaks to this point
