Suggestions on a long lasting winter sealant?

I was hoping to find a good sealant to use for winter protection that would last 4-5 months through winter. Having a hard time finding one at a local store because so many are blended and I just want a good durable all synthetic sealant to keep the paint protected throu winter. I will drive it only sparingly during the winter but I still want to give it ample protection. anyone have any OTC prodects that would fit the bill and where I could find them? Was thinking about Klasse but would rather get something local if I can!

You might want to try this "Rejex",it was used in the airplane industry initially. You can find it direct online from the manufacture or at some Ace hardware stores.I have used this twice on my car.Applied first coat approx. 90 days after delivery and another coat early spring.Really repels water, and make for easy bug removal.Try it you will like it.
(they state good for 6 months)

Any professional sealant will do the trick - I prefer Adam's Machine Super Wax.

The original poster asked the question I wanted to ask. I want to rewax our
2 Chevy Avalanches a red and a black so they stay waxed over the winter..I'd like a nice shine but mostly want a wax that will last until spring. Figure if I start now I can get a good 2-3 coats on before the cold weather hits. I have the paint looking great now. Thanks I'll check into the Adams products...

Any quality sealant will last you 4-6 months depending on the conditions its subjected to. If your vehicle is garaged - 6 months no problem; vehicles stored outdoors in the elements will be closer to 4 months of protection.

Like I said I prefer the Adam's line as they are "Made in the USA" - they offer great products and fantastic customer service. I like to give my hard earned money to a company that's doing its best to keep everything made in the USA.

I've used Rejex. The stuff works pretty great. I also tried a panel of adams machine superwax. Well lets just say it appeared to have the same results as Rejex.

I personally prefer the rejex as I can apply it easily by hand. I tend to color outside the lines with the Porter Cable.

Just remember sometimes people recommend things that they personally use and sell and therefore have a vested interest in expanding their company's customer base.I say try them all and find one that you personally like and are satisfied with.Just my own personal view point!
Would personally like someone to post those that are USA made and those that are not? I believe in buying American made products where possible also.It Would be good for all of the members to know which are and which are not produced and bottled in the USA. Thank's

Well that really limits your choices. But I can proudly say that all of the Adam's product line are manufactured and bottled in the great ol' USA.

I'm curious to know what other products are also....

Griot's is made right here in Indiana. It owns its own bottling place and all of that. It is developed by people in Tacoma, WA and Plainfield, IN. The products are produced and bottle in Plainfield, IN.

I have a huge beef with Griot's garage right now... It's complicated, but I refuse to purchase their products.
