I could be wrong, but I think you linked both new additions to the same video.
Sounds fantastic!

Just to confirm, these are the units you got?
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...zone=all&id=43 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BBK-4...Q5fAccessories http://www.autoanything.com/air-inta...b-001b2166c62d And, forgive me, since I am a performance (non-cosmetic anything) newb... Anything done here that could void warranty? Require messing with "the chip", aka tuning etc. CEL - I see you mentioned monitoring it to keep it off, will this set up require doing something consistently to avoid this? EDIT - Just read your install thread. I see the 02 sensor trick there. Is that the only major situation with this and CEL? Aka do that, and should be good to go, etc? Really digging this sound from all the angles, great job on the videos. First I've found that I'd consider upgrading things because of. Love the idle sound especially.

The Magnaflow exhaust I have is the axle back, which is less money, but will keep the factory 2 1/4" pipes from the cat back, where as the cat back system upgrades to 2 1/2" pipe. The power difference is not enough for me to justify the extra cost of the cat back system. I got my axle back magnaflow on EBAY for $525. Those are the correct headers. Check with JEGS.com. I got mine for $100 less. That is the Injen intake I have and I got form the same vendor. If you install any Long tube header with high flow cats your going to get a Check Engine Light. I have attemped several times to get rid of it, but It won't go away. The sensors and PCM on these cars are to sensitive. The only option available to keep the CEL off as of now it get a Trifecta Tune. I will be getting a tune eventually since none of my attemps have worked to keep the CEL off. If you don't want to get a tune DT shortie headers have been the only ones to not set codes because they weld on to the factory cat converters, but DT's will not give as much of a power increase as BBK long tube headers If your concerned about warranty. The only thing a would suggest is to talk with the service manager at your dealership, since he will be the one making the decision if a warranty issue ever comes up.

I'm really looking at this for sound, not performance per say, don't race, and stock does me well for highway driving. So, what do you think is the most important for that deep sound, non-tingy sound. The axle-back, headers, CAI, or some combo of all needs to be done to get that? I'm guessing the Headers have a big part in it, since other vids of the Magnaflow don't sound like yours. But would love to hear your point of view on it, since you did it .Thanks, later!

I will comment on your question alexw...
If I were you, I'd go for an exhaust + CAI combo. The right exhaust alone will be the biggest best change in tone, but the CAI will only improve it a bit further. Yes OUR BEE's car sounds different than the others because of the headers....but his overall tone isn't much different. It may be a bit lower the the other magnaflows without headers, but not hugely different...its the added rumble and growl from the headers that your likely hearing. Getting much rumble from the LLT seems to be tough until you start adding aftermarket headers, plus the magnaflows are known to be a smooth sounding exhaust. But the tone from the magnaflows is nice and low in my opinion. These two are getting a fair amount of "rumble" with just mufflers though in my opinion. They are also custom setups: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90675

^^ If your not looking for power and just want a better sound I would install either the axle back, cat back or custom setup using Magnaflow mufflers. My axle back exhaust was my first mod and the sound got better than stock and then I added my CAI and it got a little louder and deeper, but it did not open up and sound superb until I installed the headers.
You mentioned you like the sound of my car at idle. I really didn't notice much of a difference in the sound at ilde compared to stock untill my headers where put on.

Still need to consider warranty stuff, find a dealer round here, etc. On top of all this. Thanks for your input everyone. And to stay on topic, again, great videos .

I have about the same set up KMPregner has and is deep and smooth, added the D/t shorties and no cel , more reponse and power, about what you get from the cai but more bottom end.You will be more quiet at idle and around town with the shorties over catback/cai, but have some header rumble but probably not as much as long tubes. Overall sounds great when you get on it!!!
