I have the MRT on a ss LS3 and it has drone at 2,000 rpm and was told that there would be none. They said I must live with it. No refunds. Scott will not return my calls.
After more research all brands drone some what . But MRT could have warned me.
The price was good $ 429 the after the fact sucks. Yes they sound good at idle and driving but you get drone 1800 to 2200 rpm in most case you drive threw it. Not sure about highway speeds . This may be a problem but I do not drive on the highway that much.

sorry to hear... at $429 you must have Ver 1.0 not Ver 2.0... Thing with drone is it's a very personal thing... it is hard to quantify... Ver 1.0 does have that "boomy" sound in the 1800 to 2000 RPM range... I even pointed it out in my video... Some find it annoying, others like me do not... I've ridden in other cars where the company also claimed "no drone" but yet there was drone... again, in the 2000 RPM range... but like you also mentioned, I really only drive threw that range... I don't cruise at it...

However Ver 2.0, which is what this thread is about, basically eliminates, that increased boomy sound in that 2000 rpm range...

Ok. Today I finally got my baby.
Factory exhaust. Woot am I deaf... barely even hear it run while idle.
MRT 2.0 is definitely on the list.

12 of 12.
Going to order winter tires soon, and getting protection against road salt and extra humidity.
Hopefully dont need to change liquids.

MRT 2.0 axle back exhaust + what -> more cleaner sound?
Like not so loud on high rpm, maybe little more bass.

(I know it starts to be science, but thats what its all about. Not some random cans)

Noice....make sure you get some vids of the car tackling the winter wonderland

As for the MRTs, they are plenty more aggressive and will turn heads, but you won't have to apologize for the sound. Because it does sound cool, as opposed to annoying.

I have had JBA shorty headers and MRT V 1.0 on for about 500 miles now. At 1st I thought it was a little loud and I have a little drone at about 2000 rpm's but its not that bad at all. Also when I got use to it and saw the heads turn im REAL REAL HAPPY!! I just hope the CEL stays off for the headers. the guy who did them took about 5.5 hrs to do them and even called JBA about the install and replaced the old gaskets with new ones he also thinks people dammage the o2 censor and this will give you a CEL. sorry to ramble on....

After noodlin' on buying these for... well, a long time... I just submitted the order!

I'll have to find a shop to do the work - anyone have any suggestions in the Fairfax, VA / Wash. D.C. area?

I installed my MRT v2 about 2 weeks ago. Seriously those things are PURE WIN. Makes the Camaro actually sound as mean as it really is. If you are reading this thread and for some reason are still contemplating getting these stop what your doing and go to the site and order. No joke. I thought it was gonna sound decent but it sounds amazing.

BUY IT NOW
