White engine is exactly the same as a black car. Killer looks, but I'd hate to have to keep it looking that way Too much work

That white is awesome! Is it powdercoat or paint?

The white looks stunning. That's a killer look.

John, when your build is done, I'm thinking Camaro of the Week.

Here is a Picture that Tim sent me. The car is partially disassembled because we were trying different CAIs. The stock windshield washer fluid bottle is removed in this picture because we were trying the injen kit as well. I can't really speak to gains. The whipple install kit comes with a K&N filter and has you modify the stock air box to open it up more. It may be that this removed a good bit of the factory restriction. I was initially expecting a larger gain when combined with the headers. I think the CAI may have more of an effect at higher boost levels. As you can see it fits just like stock.

As far as the meth kit is concerned, it seems like you are all making valid points. I didn't mean to start a debate. It is definitely an option and not a requirement. Sackrat I appreciate the input. I may be overdoing it, but what the heck, so is everything else I'm doing to a car that came with 426hp from the factory. At this point, it's an experiment, we'll see how it goes. I'm not cutting or ripping anything out. We used preexisting mounting locations under the hood. The wires will be run through the fire wall to the a pillar. A pillar snaps out easily. If I am dissatisfied, I can take it out in about 20 minutes and replace factory a pillar.

I do have to give Tim credit here. He already had the kit in stock and prepped to go in my car, when we started discussing the tank placement. He was willing to use his camaro as a guinea pig before installing in my vehicle. He even recommended that I may not need to spend the money and that he would put the kit back on his shelf. How many shops would do that? I really can't say enough for how honest he has been during the build.
