Thumbs up Drove a Z06 today....LS7 in a Camaro...hmmmm..

Perks of knowing your dealer WELL, as well as paying invoice on my new Camaro! Anyway.....a Z06 Vette.....WOW, that car is SILLY fast! I've owned fast street cars, but to have a new vehicle like that...right off the lot be that powerful, its just crazy! I can't even imagine what a ZR1 will feel like! I love the LS7 and would LOVE to see that engine in the Camaro at some point.

The LS7 is on its way out in favor of supercharged 6.2Ls, like the LSA. I highly doubt we'll see an LS7 equipped Camaro from the factory. There is something special about the NA force of the 7. If I had the money I'd seriously considering dropping one in as a crate engine.

More like sticky drag radials at least! I was on cold pavement, but from a 10 mph I lit them up like butter....then 2nd, then 3rd, then clicked 4th..spun, hooked and WHOA...almost lost it! I honestly can't imagine that car with 100+ more hp in ZR1 form! As badass as that car is, I just have a more comfort level behind the wheel of a Camaro....now just give me 500+hp with it!!

Headers, CIA, Cam and some good tuning will come very close.

Actually, Headers, Cam, and a Tune will put you there if not higher in terms of whp. The only problem is you're going to need more power to overcome the Camaro's 600-700lb handicap.
